Books One, Two, & Three: 

The series does contain dark themes, but it is not a dark romance and there are no instances of violence or abuse between the main characters.

Triggers Off Page: Child Death, Child Neglect, Death of Loved Ones, 

Miranda’s story focuses heavily on her journey through healing from the PTSD she has after surviving Earth’s Apocalypse. She is in mourning for her planet and struggles with the trauma she endured before falling from destroyed Earth into Faeda. Miranda also suffers with survivors’ guilt and the loss of everyone she knew, especially the children she watched over at her daycare job.  

Although it is not depicted on page, Govek struggles with emotional abuse in his childhood, as well as neglect. He spent much of his life alienated from his clan and family who often treated him with contempt.

Book Two features an intimate scene where the female lead is on her period. There are also scenes where mental abuse tactics such as gaslighting are used (these are NOT between the main characters!)

Book Three has intimate scenes with chasing and biting.
